About

I started my career journey with a fervent passion for the hospitality industry, embarking on a path that would intertwine my interests in administration, human resources, training, and digital marketing. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Rayat Bahra University in Chandigarh, I eagerly stepped into the professional arena, ready to absorb knowledge and contribute my skills to the field. My educational journey laid a robust foundation, instilling in me the fundamentals of hotel operations, guest service excellence, and the intricate workings of the hospitality sector. Along with my Hotel management, I started working on some projects which were in collaboration with the Global Academy of Professional Studies (GAPS) Mohali, where I orchestrated successful Social Media Marketing and Promotion campaigns.

My professional evolution continued as a Digital Marketing Executive at Akasa Wellness Solutions, a prominent name with 35 spas throughout India. This journey allowed me to harness my digital skills and refine my marketing acumen. During my studies, I eagerly sought opportunities to apply my knowledge and hone my skills in real-world settings. Driven by a desire to expand my horizons and explore different facets of the hospitality industry, I seized the opportunity to undertake a Vocational Training program at ITC Fortune Rivera Jammu, where I developed Front Office and Guest handling skills. After some time, I underwent the Industrial Training Internship opportunity at the Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram, which provided me with valuable experience in the front office and where I got to know about actual sales and marketing skills. This experience proved to be invaluable as I gained exposure to various departments, including Front Office, Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, and Human Resources. Immersing myself in these different areas allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and refine my skills in customer service, communication, and teamwork.

My first significant role came as a Guest Service Associate at Le Meridien Hyderabad, where I was tasked with ensuring guest satisfaction and managing various front office responsibilities. It was here that I learned the importance of attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to resolve issues promptly and courteously, all while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. After the COVID-19 pandemic, I started my own ventures under the name of Click and Reach, a digital marketing company registered under the MSME Govt of India. Here, I got the opportunity to work with many companies such as Shito Ryu Karate of Jammu and Kashmir, the Association of Karate Jammu and Kashmir, and Muthai Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Shambhavi Travels, Lions International, and TR Solutions. Building upon my foundational experiences, I transitioned into roles that allowed me to further explore my interests and broaden my skill set.

As an Embrace Executive at Embrace Hotels in Chandigarh, I honed my administrative skills while also delving into marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing the hotel's exposure and driving customer traffic. This role provided me with valuable insights into the importance of effective communication, attention to detail, and adaptability in a dynamic hospitality environment. Eager to delve deeper into the realm of digital marketing, I accepted a position as a Digital Marketing Manager at Sangral Group of Media House in Jammu. Here, I leveraged my creativity and analytical skills to manage social media accounts, analyze market trends, and optimize digital marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and enhance brand visibility. This role allowed me to stay abreast of the rapidly evolving digital landscape while also honing my skills in data analysis and strategic planning.

Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, I found my calling in the field of training and development. Joining NFCI- Hotel Management and Culinary Institute as a Sr. Executive in Training and Placement, I found fulfillment in guiding, mentoring students and staff as they embarked on their own career journeys. Whether it was preparing students for interviews, crafting training materials for staff, or developing employee development plans and HR related work, I found joy in empowering others to reach their full potential. Throughout my career journey, I have been fortunate to have encountered numerous opportunities for growth and development. From my early days as a guest service associate to my current role in training and placement, each experience has shaped me into the professional that I am today. As I look towards the future, I am excited to continue my journey of learning and growth, eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities that come my way.
